Branson, MO

Well I'm taking off for a couple of days with my parents. We are going to celebrate my birthday in Branson, Mo. We are also going to catch some of the stages of the Tour of Missouri. Some of the teams from the Tour de France will be there and I think the winner.

We are meeting Daddy in Fayeteville (he's on a business trip)and then driving together the rest of the way. He's going to crack up when he sees this hat...and trust me I plan on playing my birthday up alllll weekend!

Nap Mat

Most of you wouldn't believe that babies can fall asleep on mats...at least babies under a year! They just lay me down...and I just lay really still, most days, and fall asleep. Mommy thinks it's absolutely pitiful. I am in a really big room (for being a baby) and I just look so little on my little mat.
My teacher took a picture of me today falling asleep on my mat. I was too tired to finish my bottle. At home I have a morning and an afternoon nap. At Mother's Day Out I have just one little nap (15minutes).
Well...I just wanted to show you this picture...I am off for my two hour nap now! Lucky Mom she gets a little time to herself!

Morning Milk

It's an early morning ... mom is getting ready to teach Mother's Day Out and I am just having a little milk on Mommy's bed.
Mommy has been a slow learner with figuring out that my morning milk on her bed is not such a good idea anymore. It's the second time she has found me a little too close to the edge. So, goodbye to laying on Mommy's bed in the mornings.
It's kinda sad getting ready to turn one. I am just too big for my own britches. But as my Uncle Bobby would say, "That's the breaks"!

TA DA! New Shoes!

Look what I got! My first pair of "real" shoes. My Aunt Amy came to visit us a couple of weeks ago and bought them for me!
They are my 1 year-old birthday present shoes. Amy said green was a good color because not everything had to be "matchy match".
At Mother's Day Out they leave my shoes on during nap... but I got in trouble because when I was supposed to be sleeping I kept making them squeak...by kicking my foot (the name of my shoes are " Pipsqueaks"). The ladies thought it was funny, I know. But they still took them off of me. That's okay. All the ladies, everywhere, tell me how cute they are.
