What a perfect picture of the three of them.

Cooper was telling Isabelle very silly secrets.

Being the sweet girl she is the first pumpkin she found was for her brothers...

It seems I am already worrying about making my children ("my children" so strange...just weeks ago I had "a child"...crazy!) each feel loved and unique. I am worried that Isabelle's world will to quickly be about "the twins" and being a big sister...and not enough about being three. It seems I blinked...a very slow blink of 9 months...and poof I have this big girl that is physically so big and has such big girl opinions.
It has been so, so good to snuggle with her on her bed again, sit on the floor and play, and even get her from school. I am not quite ready to run...but watching her run at the pumpkin patch reminded me that she is still a silly, little girl and I still have lots of moments to cherish....it just really does go too fast.

It was like she found freedom in her own little obstacle pumpkin course.

Family of 5

What a crazy day. Roger and I had our continual "let's get this over with...plllleeeease?!!!" faces on which felt like permanent fixtures from the past couple of months...and now we were at last...on our way!

We felt so blessed as the hospital experience, the staff and dr.'s were just so great and supportive. They kept us in the loop no matter what was going on and offered tons of support. It is amazing how in just seconds your life changes...a process this 9months has reminded us of over and over again.

I must say that first moment, that first cry, that first sight when they show you your baby is such a rush. You suddenly feel every motherly instinct come charging in, you soften, you heal, and the process of falling madly in love begins. This time not only is it with a little boy...but with two!
The babies were strong from the beginning. Cooper (on the left) had some fluid in his lungs that you could hear when he was breathing so they monitored him in the nursery the first night. He came to us the next morning...just fine. They both shared a little jaundice that a couple days in the sun took care of...thankfully they had each other to share it with:).

Big Sister Isabelle is doing wonderful. Better than I could have ever thought. Yes, she wants Mommy and Daddy, but not without her twins. She kisses on them, gives them pat pats, wants them to listen to her read, and is just very sure to reassure anyone who comes over than she is a GOOD big sister. Her worst crimes so far are disappearing with her stool to give them a peak good night and being sure she shares her stickers with them (all over their faces)!

Getting ready for school is even easier as long as their is time to hold her twins.

I can't seem to take a picture that does them justice. They are snugly little sweet, sweet babies that look so different but share so much.

Welcome sweet boys. "Cooper" Walker (left) and Theodore ("Teddy") Webster (right).
"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14)
We are so thankful for the new chapter in our lives and the amazing miracle of life that they have brought with them!

Field Day June 2008

This was my last "official" day at school. We had a field day and our parents got to come. I am prepping for the games just before they call my name here.
This was a track sprint. I got off to a great start but had to have a little support at the end.

Tug aware.

Wondering what's next:).

The highlight of Mommy's day was first being my cheerleader and then the unexpected "thank you Mom for coming to my school and playing with me". I am learning if you show a little appreciation it goes a loooooong way:).

HOORAY!

YEAH!!! We are back in business. My editing options were disabled for a very long time...therefore I was not able to write you. But, with some extra time to research we have figured out the problem. Hopefully now we can regain some of our fans?!

Where to start?!

Well, most recently Mommy and I went to Ohio to see family. It was great...I was absolutely spoiled. I played with my cousin Hayley, ate lots, played some more and just got to do what about every 2 year old dreams of.

Swimming and picnics outside.
Here we were celebrating Mommy's birthday...with her favorite ice cream cake...yummm.
Here I am just being cute. But at this age its really starting to go to my head... still working for me though:).
Here's my Uncle Bobby. I just love him. He is the only person I allowed to snuggle me the entire time I was home. We both like to play "hard to get":).
Here is Grandma and I at the DORA concert. Mommy cries at everything these days...for some crazy reason my absolute joy in seeing my friend Dora brought tears to her eyes. Silly Mama. However she did not have the same emotional response when I was kicking and screaming on our way out...all I wanted was Dora to come to my house!
Highlight of my week was seeing baby Noah. I was very gentle with him and he loved my kisses. He is my new cousin.

Here is Great Grandma Ruth Isabelle. I think she is still teasing me about having my name, but she was still as beautiful and sweet as ever.
We went and fed the ducks like Mommy did when she was little with G-pa. Unfortunately they have mutated to vicious geese. I had to learn the hard way that not all babies are sweet and gentle...they bit me. It's okay though because G-pa promised me revenge on them.

A & B

...there are so many things to think and wonder when you are pregnant. Especially when you go into your first ultrasound. All the what ifs and the wants of wishing you could just jump ahead through the first trimester, find out the sex of your baby, and so on.

This time I was holding my breathe...wanting to see/hear that heartbeat...

The ultra sound woman was much more relaxed than the last time but still quiet...Roger was totally getting it, and I was just oblivious...

I don't think there are words for what we felt next. At least not ones you should post on your blog;).

Mommy took me to a wonderful Easter egg hunt at the Clinton Library over the weekend. This was my first official hunt since I have been alive.

I was smokin the other kids!

Shout out to my family and friends!

They had face painting, craft making, this great ball pit (not for the germ phobic mom), fire trucks to get in and much more. Unfortunately Mom is so out of the loop on using her camera it had died just a few pictures in:(. Nevertheless, a great adventure and great training for this weekend:).

I went to a really great birthday party over the weekend. Braelyn's mommy built him a carwash! We got to drive real cars and clean them up with bubbles and everything. I was a little nervous at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was so fun. I know you boys are jealous;).

Having friends is wonderful!

Aunt Amy

Aunt Amy came to visit us this weekend from Florida. It was a wonderful visit. She got to spend lots of time with me, reading and pretending. Mommy was very sick so it worked out perfect that Aunt Amy could help Daddy with things around the house...while Mommy tried to get better.
Hopefully I will be able to visit her at the beach soon with my sandcastle making tools.

Vist with G-pa

Gpa came for a visit for a few days... as a result I got everything I wanted and was spoiled absolutely rotten (oh wait you're confused...I am blogging again. I know its neurotic... Daddy will be much happier if Mommy releases it back to me...Mommy is not keeping up and Daddy is much more relaxed when I am blogging...).
So with that...my favorite time of day was morning reading with G-pa. It would not be fair to say only mornings...it was more like...morning, noon, and night! Mommy and Daddy certainly do not have the patience for that!

I got my first fishing pole and set out to catch my first fish on G-pa's first visit to Arkansas!

I first learned about a good hike to find the perfect fishin' spot.

sweet rod... Daddy has been waiting 2 1/2 years to buy me this!
Daddy teaching me to have the right "tempermant" for fishing. Such a proud Daddy.

Nope didn't hold a worm but I did carry the little carton around, that's pretty brave?!

Well we didn't catch a fish but it was a WUNERFUL time. I was sad to see my Gpa go and all the extra luvins he took with him. I can't say that little back room is the same without him.
I think he had so much fun, he will be back soon!
