What a crazy day. Roger and I had our continual "let's get this over with...plllleeeease?!!!" faces on which felt like permanent fixtures from the past couple of months...and now we were at last...on our way!
We felt so blessed as the hospital experience, the staff and dr.'s were just so great and supportive. They kept us in the loop no matter what was going on and offered tons of support. It is amazing how in just seconds your life changes...a process this 9months has reminded us of over and over again.
I must say that first moment, that first cry, that first sight when they show you your baby is such a rush. You suddenly feel every motherly instinct come charging in, you soften, you heal, and the process of falling madly in love begins. This time not only is it with a little boy...but with two!
The babies were strong from the beginning. Cooper (on the left) had some fluid in his lungs that you could hear when he was breathing so they monitored him in the nursery the first night. He came to us the next morning...just fine. They both shared a little jaundice that a couple days in the sun took care of...thankfully they had each other to share it with:).

Big Sister Isabelle is doing wonderful. Better than I could have ever thought. Yes, she wants Mommy and Daddy, but not without her twins. She kisses on them, gives them pat pats, wants them to listen to her read, and is just very sure to reassure anyone who comes over than she is a GOOD big sister. Her worst crimes so far are disappearing with her stool to give them a peak good night and being sure she shares her stickers with them (all over their faces)!

Getting ready for school is even easier as long as their is time to hold her twins.

I can't seem to take a picture that does them justice. They are
snugly little sweet, sweet babies that look so different but share so much.
Welcome sweet boys. "Cooper" Walker (left) and Theodore ("Teddy") Webster (right).
"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14)
We are so thankful for the new chapter in our lives and the amazing miracle of life that they have brought with them!
