TA DA! New Shoes!

Look what I got! My first pair of "real" shoes. My Aunt Amy came to visit us a couple of weeks ago and bought them for me!
They are my 1 year-old birthday present shoes. Amy said green was a good color because not everything had to be "matchy match".
At Mother's Day Out they leave my shoes on during nap... but I got in trouble because when I was supposed to be sleeping I kept making them squeak...by kicking my foot (the name of my shoes are " Pipsqueaks"). The ladies thought it was funny, I know. But they still took them off of me. That's okay. All the ladies, everywhere, tell me how cute they are.

Security Issues

It appears that one of my friends mommy's has figured out my password to my blog. She let her little boy post some things yesterday. I am not saying that what he wrote is true or not true...I'm just saying he wrote it...not me.

My Boyfriend

I wanted to introduce someone I care deeply about. It is Mommy's BFF's son, Brody. We have known each other for most of our lives, and I love him very much. With the exception of Daddy, he is the only other man who appreciates my "princessness." He is a few months older than me, can walk, and has a lot more teeth than me (he even has molars!). He is not nearly as verbal as I am, but it works out well because he is a great listener. Brody loves to hear me talk about Mommy, Daddy, and all my adventures. He especially loves to hear my belly laughs. He doesn't even mind when I get sassy with him- which is a lot!

He reads my blog often, sees all the people that come to visit me, and wishes that he could do the same. If you would like to see more of my cutie cute, you can visit his blog at http://thehoges.blogspot.com/ But hands off, ladies- he's mine!

Here is a picture of us on our first date (way back when we were babies). It was love at first sight. Of course it would be- what's not to love about me!

Grandpa and Granny

This weekend Granny and Grandpa came to my house to visit me. It was soooo much fun. I got even more attention than usual! I got a new kitchen and some new play food. The pretend food is for three year olds but Mommy promised Granny to take out the stuff that I can eat...so everything is okay now. Granny taught me how to pretend drink, pretend eat, and pretend share:)!
Grandpa played too!
I got to eat my first pancakes that Daddy made me...with everybody watching. It was pretty cute...Daddy loooooves pancakes so it's pretty important to him that I share his love.
Here are some pictures from our weekends.

My Favorite Past Time

This is what we do in the morning...read....and play with hats. Usually this gives Mommy some time to get her coffee and then she helps me read. This week I learned to do a fake smile...Mommy has several pictures with that look in the first picture...she is not to happy with it.

Sometimes people ask me how Goo is adjusting to me. She is doing great. I love her very much...she reads with me in the morning too. She likes my room the best out of all them...we really cheer each other up.

Here I am!

Sorry for the delay in posting! Mommy has not had her computer for awhile. I am doing well though. I am almost crawling and just moving a ton...it's pretty exhausting. We have been busy with company, Mommy working a couple days a week, and ...OH...I got my first tooth on the top. That's been tiresome too!

Water Babies

Just before we left for Ohio I finished my first session of swim lessons. It was a two week class...of splashing, kicking, climbing, blowing bubbles, and singing. I brought Mommy with me and the two of us went with Ezra and his mommy.

Soooo much to talk about...

Well its been awhile since we have put any posts on my blog. I have been traveling.

I just went to Ohio with my family. It was Daddy's first plane ride with me. Whew, was it exhausting.

I am being a sleepers at the layover in Cincinnati. I'm a cutesters.
Just after this cute little look...I spotted another lap I wanted to sit in and threw an absolute fit of screeching b/c Mommy and Daddy wouldn't pass me on.
The big occasion for our travels to Ohio was for my Great Grandma Ruth's 90th Birthday! We had family fly in from Maine, North Carolina, Georgia, and of course Arkansas.

We gave her lots of lovins on her birthday and a scrapbook to tell her how much her entire family loves her. The next day we all went to church and then out to breakfast.

Hayley and I sat at our own table:).
During the week I got to take my first bike ride with Grandma...
and then my Daddy. We even rode up to the coffee shop and met G-pa for drinks. We played at Grandma's park too with Uncle Bobby! By this time...I was sick of pictures!

The morning we left I got a little one on one time with cousin, Hayley.
Mommy did too!
Bye, bye Ohio...I will miss you Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Max, Uncle Bobby, Uncle Nick, Aunt Mary Anne, Hayley and Abby.

Bathtime with an Audience

Granny and Aunt Susie's Visit

We walked at the Big Dam Bridge

relaxed a little

and ate some wonderful meals.

It was wonderful.

Saturday, July 28, 2007

Well...I had been "preparing" for Granny and Great Aunt Susie's visit, all week. Especially since Aunt Susie was coming all the way from Canada.

I was sure to be well rested, dressed in pink, with an abundant of smiles and "tricks" to make their hearts gush! I must say they were an easy audience. I think I am assured to have made their trip memorable!

For Granny and Aunt Susie I snuggled and waved...

I twirled, blew bubbles, and batted my eyes in the bath tub.

As well as said "duckie", wave, and blow kisses.

This trick I just thought of "on the fly". Pretty impressive, huh?

Blowing Kisses

Yesterday my friends Kim and Mark came to visit us, from Texas. I have been showing off sooooo much. I was waving bye, bye, doing a trick called "SOOO Big", clapping, and blowing kisses....all at once. But as soon as Mom turned on the camera...it all stopped...except blowing kisses!

I did resume my tricks, however, as soon as the camera was off. I will give you my trick debut soon!

Cute Pics from June

Raining Cats and Dogs!

So today mom decided was the day to get back in to walking (motivated by her not being able to button anything). So against her better judgement (dark clouds) we headed out to the Big Dam Bridge to get Mommy some exercise. I was all for it...because as Daddy says she's not fat, but she could stand to lose a few pounds!

It was so fun...everyone was talking to me, waving, and telling Mommy what a cute baby I was (as if I couldn't hear them myself). Well...we just kept walking when suddenly it started sprinkling, then raining, then pouring, and then well...we couldn't see in front of us it was raining so hard. This man yelled, "you better get to your car, it's raining cats and dogs". And what was so hilarious Mommy was trying to run with the stroller...the stroller was bouncy and going really fast...I was just giggling away...
You know, I really taught Mommy a special lesson today...to make the best of any situation...and that life is so much more fun with me!
OH! And I don't know what that man was talking about...I didn't see any cats or dogs.
